While the motif of a tree as a means to visualize a family is not unique, we chose to use this image to invoke the roots that we are building from our grandparents onward and for its ability to grow. The top of the label has the year 1959, our grandparents' wedding year and the year the family began. The tree grows from our surname, doubling as punctuation.
