In this series of works, I sough to explore the process of painting, a process that is itself unrecoverable. While it is an additive process by nature, burying the past and existing only in the present, I documented the stages of the painting's evolution immortalizing the invisible. By studying the development of the work, we learn as much about the painting as about the painter behind it, revealing the hand of the artist through each addition.
