The design emerged out of a discussions with the bride and groom who were interested in celebrating their familial home, where the wedding was to take place.
The process included consultation calls, draft sketches, inking and watercoloring, editing, type-finding, and laying out. Using digital painting techniques enabled a fluid, iterative process with lots of room for back-and-forth until the perfect design emerged.
The drawing was used as a surprise t-shirt graphic for the couple's joint bachlor/ette parties with close friends.
