The design emerged out of a discussions with the bride and groom who were interested in a vineyard themed invitation and in featuring their dog, Shimi, on the card.
The process included consultation calls, draft sketches, inking and watercoloring, editing, type-finding, and laying out. The bride and groom received the original illustration as a keepsake.
